My daughter says she wants to watch SMK with me, but I think it is because she wants to do what Mommy does, so if I like she will too. I don't know if I want my 7 yr old going gaga over some spy though... either that or I really like having SMK all to my self. I am thinking that this song is a good one for Lee at the end of TWWH It's a beautiful version. I'm really over the Proclaimers' version - it played at every single university party I went to 20+years ago and the style irritating me so much that I'd never listened to the words. The "group" now single member seem very interesting as well, and involvement in a not for profit organisation for people with depression and related mental health issues. I also thought the next song Youtube "played" more me was good for Lee as well (also better than the Police version) morley, both my girls enjoy watching SMK with me and they're not much older than your daughter - they like Lee but it's very pure and almost 'objective'. They're fascinated by the clothes they where (maybe I've spent too much time collecting screen caps for posts . I know what you mean about wanting to keep SMK to yourself - my mum has shown an interest in watching it and I'm strangely reluctant to share it with her, although we're very close.

Hmm... First post in Neds! Here are my picks. I know there are more, but I think these songs are most likely to make me think of SMK. 5. Spies Like Us - Paul McCartney... tjsmklvr made a cute video of this. 4. Halo - Beyonce... About the only song not of the era and it's because of Lovesmk's awesome video! 3. I Can't Hold Back - Survivor.... Perfectly L&A and obviously, another great Lovesmk video! 2. The Search is Over - Survivor.... Also on You Tube, but I remember hearing it immediately after the "Dead Men Leave No Trails" tag. 1. Amanda - Boston. Probably don't have to explain why.

I have a playlist on my Ipod nicknamed "SMK" for songs that made me think of Lee and Amanda immediately, but I have a few that are on there simply because the SMKvids that were created for them. My current favourite is Meaghan Trainor's "Dear Future Husband" because SMKjennilee's video so perfectly captured the fun side of the series that I laugh out loud every time I watch it.

Would be great to hear from you both about how you discovered/rediscovered SMK at this thread and your favourite season/episode as we don't have much space at JWWM for those types of discussions .

That Dear Future Husband video is the cutest! I love the fact that there are songs I don't really get into but will after watching an SMK video. I wasn't really into that "Love Me Like You Do" either until lovesmk made it into a video. Now I like it and can think of Lee and Amanda when I hear it.

Cute ad as well, but this one will definitely be making its way to my SMK playlist on its own merits.

I recently ran across this song called She's More by Andy Griggs. It tells about how Lee fell in love Amanda, though she was nothing like what he expected.

Oh , haven't been here in a while but glad to catch up. So funny, I not only have aSMK playlist but one for Castle (at least before they ruined it this season, grrrr). Glad to know I'm in good company Janeth and Learjet! The song I really connect to this later part of season 3 is Today by the Jefferson Airplane. Tis beautiful!
