duh duh duhhhhhh!!!! The Artless Dodger??!!!! eek!! What’s the next episode after this? Dead Ringer.. okay got it!
Okay, go for it Morley! see what you can do with this episode!
you’ve already improved it for me by explaining in the Lost and Found scotch thoughts vignette why Lee acts like a jerk in this episode!
Ah yes.. the good old tie bar! was happy to see that go eventually! whooo love how you’ve incorporated the ‘Eva debacle’ and Lee feeling he had something to prove!!!
‘the last straw’ ?? uh oh... when the ‘scarecrow’ reaches ‘the last straw’- he is definitely in all kinds of trouble
tee heee.. sorry I couldn’t resist!
rofl.. Love Lee dribbling his scotch tee hee..
His fury at Amanda is a tad hypocritical given it was only last week that he had himself made a mistake by trusting a romantic interest.. Meh!!!! Though I do love the idea of Lee feeling he needs to teach her a thing or two about the dating world
tee hee..
Yes he had been too harsh on her! Jerk!!!! Yes very strong emotions.. rather telling! And here was Lee last week saying he wasn’t going to get so emotional anymore??!! definitely 'a place of compromise'!!! he’s failing at it already.. suffer Lee!
Oh hooray Morley! Love to see you’ve got Lee acknowledging the ‘similar experience’ makes me feel better
He chose Le Trianon because they already had the set there ready to go from filming the earlier scene whahahaaa. sorry couldn’t resist!!
Like how you’ve left Lee realising it had been a fun evening- sets things up for the start of Dead Ringer nicely!!!
You are very savvy Morley!! Always thinking ahead!
Window Reflections time! – Yes going from Dean to The Artful Dodger was a big contrast! lol!!
Wow... lots of fantastic insights into what Amanda went through after the dodgy boyfriend! Something the episode does not deal with at all.. and indeed Morley, for me it definitely improves the episode.. because I after watching the episode, for once I was left with the vibe: what was the point of it all??!!! the characters didn’t seem to progress or learn.. but here you’ve filled in the gaps nicely! thank you!!
Hmm.. Amanda thinks Lee was projecting his own painful experience with Eva onto her?? well.. it certainly did hit close to home.
Oh rofl!! I wrote the above and then- ta da!! you’ve gone and mentioned Lee’s anger ‘was kind of a projection of his own feelings toward himself’ – this is starting to get freaky!!
Amanda is very gracious. I’ve always seen that word as a perfect description of how Amanda treats others.
No. I think she should have been p&$%ed!!!
lol I am not as nice or gracious as Amanda.. tee hee..
I think she can have compassion but also let Lee know that kind of treatment is not okay- boundaries Amanda!
LOL very true.. Lee Stetson hasn’t had much practice with apologies!!
that’s a lovely way to end it Morley.. in spite of his faults, deep down she knows she is safe with him.. he is sometimes sharp tongued and nasty, but he regretted it- eventually- and tried to make up for it.. whoooo you’ve mentioned ‘vulnerability’ again!!! Love it!!!
Still not a fave.. and never will be this episode.. meh! But yes.. this episode is definitely more palatable in this order with your stories to bridge the gap.. well done Morley!!!
Operation make sense of Jerky Lee has been completed IMHO!
I know you write these stories because you enjoy it Morley, but just wanted to say I am so grateful that you have continued on with this project of yours!!!! I hope you are encouraged to continue on.. I can't wait to see what other goodies you have in store for us!!!! Keep up the great work! and thanks so much for sharing the fruits of your labors with us all!!!!!
