Hey everyone!
There's a Burn Notice thread discussing the smk/bn coincidences over in other topics.. but..
I thought it could be fun to have a thread for where all cross overs/ coincidences/ location sightings etc can go.
In the last week I've watched a few episodes of Columbo (it's my go to for happy relaxed chill out watching) this show was made by Warner bros - and so there's lots of sightings going on as I am now realising this!
In the episode daggers of the mind - Columbo is in the UK and goes to visit the mansion of the dead guy - and it's Baron Von Snob's mansion (supposedly in Munich, and the guy in sudden death's too huh.. wasn't there another sighting of this mansion?) Anyway, the funny thing was I knew it before I even saw the mansion because there was a long shot of a car driving up the very familiar drive way - just like in SMK!! I'll have to check and see if it's the same car if/when I have time!!
And watching an ep called requiem for a star - where she is a movie star and much of the episode is on the lot, at one moment, billy's marlin is carried across the front of the shot - rofl!!!
Oh and I guess here is a place for me to add something I've shared before.. but what the heck.
Lethal Weapon 3 has Rene Russo's character keep a picture of Jamie and Phillip on her mantle - their brothers and sisters!! Okay byeeee!!
I keep waiting for the day I find Amanda's house in another show! byeeeeeee

Hey iwsod - Amanda's house apparently appears in "Chuck" as Sarah's dream house according to Anne's Chance Encounters Chuck section - have you watched this? We're only at the start of season 4 so haven't seen it. I adore Chuck. There was a thread on the Chuck\SMK coincidences at Neds here plus Anne has even written three Chuck/SMK stories - here is a link to one of them

hiya learjet! Oh yeah I had heard about that and Chuck.. but never seen it and have never gotten into it.. maybe one day I think there's nothing like just randomly watching a show and noticing something from smk yourself. There was also an ep of Hart to Hart which filmed a scene in the same room where Lee and his uncle are tied to the chairs.. but.. can't remember what ep it was. oh well! byeee

Not sure it this is where this goes, but there was a new TV show here that only ran for about 10 episodes called "The Librarians". For some reason I just like it. It's quirky and a bit off beat and has influenced me to read about King Arthur and Camelot. In any case I have been re-watching some of the episodes On Demand and can't believe I missed a line from one of them. One of the characters has this genius IQ and knows art and architecture and speaks several languages. At one point another character asks if there is a language he doesn't speak. He says that his Urdu might be a little rusty. All I could think of was Lee and his similar comment of being able to speak a little Urdu. I had a nice little SMK moment and then had to rewind as I wasn't paying attention to the show.

There was an actual SMK reference on yesterday's episode of General Hospital. I don't watch the show anymore, but someone I know mentioned it and it's posted on youtube. There was a couple (friends) discussing why he was spying on his girlfriend or ex-girlfriend. They then talked about missing each other as friends and she volunteered to help him go "Scarecrow and Mrs. King" the next time he went spying. It was so awesome and cute at the same time. I wonder how many people actually got the reference.

Most of the shows can be found online this days specially if you missed some episodes of any movies in general.

A friend of mine introduced me to a cartoon called Gravity Falls. It's a Disney channel show about two kids who gave to spend the summer with their great uncle who owns this tourist-trap museum of oddities in a small town, but it turns out that there are real supernatural things going on in the town. It's funny because they parody a lot of things in the show, but I was kind of laughing over Mabel's retro party outfit. (Picture from noe-yyy.deviantart.com/art/Mabel-Pines-Retro-340370954)Mabel has a large red bow, ear buttons, an over-sized sweater . . . and a grappling hook (not pictured). She may be ready for the Agency!

How about real life imitating SMK? Where have we seen sort of thing before??? Spy Swap
Also, when I think of the case of Alexander Litvinenko. sometimes SMK doesn't seem so far fetched. Truth is stranger than fiction, huh? I always feel really sad when I think of Alexander as he seemed like a decent guy (like Lee). Alexander Litvinenko

There was a thread on the Chuck\SMK coincidences at Neds here plus Anne has even written three Chuck/SMK stories - here is a link to one of them I've just recently begun to watch "Chuck" and I love it. So many times he's instructed to "stay in the car" and just like Amanda, he doesn't, and ends up more often than not saving the day. And I just reached the episode in which to my complete surprise, BB appeared as "Captain Awesome's" dad! And the marlin in Big Mike's office gave me a huge guffaw the first time I saw it as well. Came here looking for comments about Chuck and thanks, Learjet, for the link to Anne's Chance Encounters Chuck section, very informative.

My absolute favourite tip of the hat to SMK also comes via The Librarians in this bit of dialogue: Flynn Carsen: You see the blue wire? Eve Baird: Yeah. [she begins to cut it] Flynn Carsen: Don't touch the blue wire. Eve Baird: GAH! [she recoils away from the blue wire] Eve Baird: Start with "don't!" Start with "don't!"

This seems interesting! I am already looking for some new shows as I am about to finish all the series by Andrew Yeatman and I really don’t want to spoil the vacation. I do have plans of leaving the city and enjoying a new atmosphere but I can’t stop watching shows online.
