... As to what Lee is thinking, maybe he's not thinking - just looking and admiring. Debilyn - yeah, I (mentally) included admiring in my catch-all of longing. Poor Lee... still, at least at that point he doesn't have too much longer to wait.

OK - I'm'a gonna be fickle and post two versions of today's adage meme... I think the first one represents the adage better, but I just love the way Lee concentrates on Amanda in the scene that the second one is from --> viewer's choice. Merry mid-Winter Christmas Eve! (Don't ask--it's an old-school Southern Hemisphere thing... )

KC, those two are both good. Yes, lovely how Lee focuses on Amanda in the second one. Gotta admit I like the faces in the first one, though. Great!
True, true. And the fans were swooning already....

Though I have to say that I interpret Lee's face in that second new pic more like "Uh, Amanda - you're standing on my foot ..." *cheeky grin*

OK - so this one could be argued to be an idiom rather than an adage/proverb, but I'm going to go with Theodore Roosevelt's comment that he got the quote from an African proverb...
