I thought about putting this under Memes, but it's not the same, really. I found a few pictures of the SMK characters that I liked that were drawn by fans: Lee on a Mission -- Not it's original title, but more descriptive. It's a beautiful colored pencil drawing. Lee Saves Amanda -- Also not it's title, but this one's my favorite. Look, Lee's wearing argyle socks! Scarecrow Was Here -- This is just cute.

I just think this one is funny: Scarecrow and Mr. Flynn -- It's a crossover between SMK and Tron. I love it that Flynn is wielding Lester like a weapon!

These are all so cool and so nice to see how this show continues on and on crosses over so many boundaries.

It would have been better if they'd used a lighter color. I find it easier to look at the arrows above each person's head and trace them back to the words than to start at the words. I can't remember where I found this. I tried googling it, but I can't find the image online again. Maybe the site where I found it isn't there anymore.

Basically, I want to know who all the "badass bookworm"s are. I see Laura is one. Can anyone spot who the other ones are? That's my type of heroine (Do they consider reading the likes of "Love's Fatal Flaw" qualifies Amanda as a bookworm??? Shame on them!)

The bookworm one is the hardest to trace because it's in a tangle of other lines. Tracing the lines backward from the characters, this is how I read it, though:
Laura Holt
girls who want bad boys deadpan snarker action girl no-nonsense workaholic badass bookworm
Maddie Hayes
model turned detective deadpan snarker girls who want bad boys fish out of water unexpected badass
Amanda King
deadpan snarker mama bear fish out of water unexpected badass
Dana Scully
girls who want bad boys deadpan snarker action girl mama bear no-nonsense workaholic badass bookworm hot scientist
Kate Beckett
deadpan snarker model turned detective no-nonsense workaholic action girl
Temperance Brennan
hot scientist no-nonsense workaholic action girl badass bookworm fish out of water unexpected badass
So, it looks to me like the only other bookworms listed besides Laura are Dana and Temperance, but I don't think that's fair. I think that whoever created this probably favored the characters they knew the best (notice that Dana gets more arrows than any of the others). I think Kate and Amanda should also be listed as bookworms. Kate admits to being a fan of Castle's books even before she met him and makes other literary references throughout the series. I remember that she once jokingly called Castle "Scaramouche" when she introduced him to the police firing range and he didn't do well on his first couple of shots (Scaramouche was a stock character in commedia dell'arte, a braggart and womanizer who relies on luck and cleverness and avoids direct fighting -- I know that because I'm a fan of Agatha Christie, who was a fan of commedia dell'arte and made references to the characters in her stories, so I was looking up characters). Amanda should also get the bookworm title because her mother said that she majored in American Lit in college and she also makes various book references in the series (Victoria Grenwich from the romance novel she's reading, and she apparently read all of the spy novels written by the author in Double Agent). I also think that Kate should be considered a girl who wants a bad boy because Castle was a bad boy type at the beginning of the series and although he's more responsible at this point, he's still kind of on the wild side.
Another category I might add would be "wild child" because both Laura and Kate admit to having had a wild phase when they were young. I'm not sure about the others. I don't know that much about Temperance or Maddie, and it's been a long time since I've seen the X-Files.

Another picture I found: Lee as Dad -- not original title, but descriptive -- Lee with the little girl he and Amanda supposedly had
