Hello Everyone!
Not sure anyone's ready for this, but thought I'd start a thread anyway. If you've read through the Favorite Episode/Season post, you'll have noticed that S4 is my favorite. I've recently watched a couple of my favorite episodes and started wondering about a few things. One of which is just what would the Stetson/King house look like? Assuming the marriage secret is out, and Lee moves in with Amanda, Dotty and the boys (big assumption, I know) - just what of Lee's would have made it to Amanda's? And what of Amanda's would have disappeared? Would Lee have brought his prized Tibetan ram's horn? Do you think it ever dried out after Amanda drowned it? What about the other interesting art pieces and knick knacks of Lee's? I'm thinking Lee may have rented a furnished apartment or used rented furniture because it changes with each apartment - or so it seems.
See the ram's horn behind the panda? What about the big tiki guy? And here are a few more of Lee's treasures... Curious to know what anyone thinks! BJo

Do we see any of these things in his season 4 apartment. I know you can rent furnished apartments, but do they come with all the ethnic nick nacks? The season 1 and 2 apartments are so different in décor, aren't they. Is the season 2 one the same as the season 3 one? I can't tell. But I guess if we are thinking about what he took with him we would have to look at the contents of the season 4 apartment. Is there anything that is in all 3 apartments, that he took with him in each move. The only thing that I can think of off hand is the picture of him and Billy and his parents picture, right? It is fun to think about their life after the show ( I know they are fictional). I wish we could see jus a glimpse of what it was like. I don't think that mystery marriage would have lasted long, do you?

This is a really interesting idea BJo! I've never thought about that!! Hmmm.. I really don't know! I am pretty sure he would have ditched his bathrobes with Lee and she maybe also the samourai swords ( can you imagine Phillip resisting the temptation? ) Seriously though - I'll have to get back to you on this one - I don't have very good memories of Lee's last Apartment (other than the blooper of the lamp on the tripod that is not suppose to be there - hilarious.. ) I'll think on it and look forward to hearing what others think. BJo how do you think Lee would have gone living with Dotty??!!!! Here here Morley! It is fun to imagine what the characters would have done after.. Maybe you should start a thread on that too?

Great thread I cant see Amanda liking the rams horn, it's ugly LOL I really can't see Amanda having all his ethnic ornaments around the house. I think Lee would have had to embrace a more homely living space rather than some functional bachelor pad.

I think Lee might have been ready for that(a more homey living space). It might be interesting to look at the changes in the Q during the last two seasons and see if that might show how things might have been at home. I am thinking of Amanda bringing flowers in, and watering the plants (instead of a cactus). I have never paid attention to that sort of thing, but I'll keep my eyes open now.

Good call, Morley. I think some of Lee's stuff from his apartment does show up in the Q Bureau. One of his wall hangings (an Indian chief?) from his apartment (think I saw it in ACMKid) shows up in the QB in S4 - think I saw it in ANCPlay or WNumber. I'm sure there's more. He has an older looking ship - whaling? - on his mantle in S1 too. That would fit in well with Amanda's decor. She and Dotty have really filled up their house with a lot of stuff, I'm wondering what Lee would have said had to go!?!

Hmm weird! I thought I replied..and now there is nothing! Oh well try again.. [but if it shows up later you'll know why!] Now what did I say again? Umm.. I was thinking that indian artwork in the Q bureau is not exactly the same.. but very similar.. ah that's right.. I said that I think Lee and Amanda's kitchen would definitely have blue curtains! They both like them haaaaaa [TGTN] oh and there would most likely be some stinky mouldy cheese in the fridge! haaa

Yes, definitely blue curtains in the kitchen... Amanda's house was so full of bits and bobs that I don't know that there would have been anywhere to add Lee's. Maybe that's another reason why he wanted to buy a new house... (I'm going to have to pay more attention to wall stuff now when Tie Patrolling. Gah! So many things to watch for... I'm going to have to watch every episode a zillion times. What a chore. Not. )

What style house was it that Lee was looking at in season 4 (what episode was that? Was it The Man who Died Twice?) I was looking at SAAB and Amanda says that French Provincial was her favorite style of architecture. Was that what Lee was looking at in that season 4 episode?

I don't remember, Morley. I just know that it had room for horses. So probably not French Provincial. It was up in Rockville. MD.

Wow! This is an excellent thread! I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and go check out season 4 again. There was one episode in S$ where Amanda and Lee were cleaning out his closets and going through all this stuff and he had to explain a few things. Maybe they were prepping as to what would go and what would stay. I know that last apartment seemed a little more homey than his previous ones. I'll have to think on this one.
