Thanks so much for finding this KC, it was bugging me that I couldn't find any reference to KJ being cast before BB.. I knew I had read it somewhere but there's always that niggling doubt that you are mistaken.. well BB has confirmed it.. relief!

BB mentions he had two scripts to choose from with CBS. one was the Kate Jackson project which was titled 'Scarecrow and Mrs King'. Martha Smith adds for her it was only called 'the Kate Jackson project'.

to make a long story short - it was KJ's first.. and then BB came onboard.. if you watch the vid he talks about the audition a little..
