OK--so I know there's one of these threads on Yuku, and you can ask me to remove this one if you want, but I'm enjoying hanging at Ned's and I had my first good SMK co-inky-dink today: While out for lunch I saw an SUV with the license plate: STETSNS. LOL--it made me think of family man Lee!

This thread is fine with me. saw another 'vette a few weeks ago before I moved. That's about as close as I normally get for SMK coincidences LOL

OMG - I see Corvette's all the time where I live. And every time I see one, I tell my kids. They are both so sick of me pointing them out to them, that they roll their eyes and say, "So?" So?? But Lee could be driving ones of those puppies! What do they mean, so? Kids, I tell ya.... Of course after hearing me say "Corveeeeette" in my not so lovely sing-songy voice once a day would probably get on anyone's nerves.... Sometime's I do say, "Look, there's Lee's car!" or Scarecrow's car. LOL.

It's not a coincidence but my nearly 8 year old son announced the other day that he really likes SMK. My plans for world domination via SMK brainwashing are working out bwhahahaha!

I was just reading our discussion of rabbit holes that lead to SMKland and I realized that when you get off of my exit on the highway the first sign you see on my road says, "Lee Co." Must a big rabbit hole for SMK down at the end of that drive... or maybe it is indicating my house up the street a bit... hmm?

Wah hah hah, Morley! Maybe you'll have to go and do a little investigating of/at Lee Co.

I usually only see red Corvettes or black ones... so they don't count... but while tooling up to Orange County for work today I saw a silver Corvette--woot! And then another on the drive back this evening! (Plus a blue one and a maroon one earlier in the afternoon.) The two silver ones count, though.

There's a man at my church who really reminds me of Frank Duffy!

I was in Chicago over the summer and took one of those double decker bus tours. We passed a street called Stetson Rd. Also, in the city where I live there is a Maplewood Ave. One day I'm going to see if I can find the King address.

Ok.... this coincidence happened in LA back in October after the SMK reunion. But it is WAY too good to not be shared! And actually kinda freaky.....
Raffie and I plus another SMK friend from Yuku (NancyH) were travelling back from visiting the Queen Mary from Ship of Spies (awesome experience btw) and we saw a silver corvette in the lane next to us. It had an unusual license plate number (can't remember it now, but Raffie might). We were all excited cuz we saw Lee's car on the way back from an SMK filming location. Well..... it got off at an exit and we continued on for 2 more exits and got off to grab something to eat for dinner. We ate in the restaurant (it was a Big Boy's if I remember correctly) and went back to our car. When we got there... that same silver Corvette was parked right next to us! We knew it was the same one cuz Raffie remembered the unusual license plate. We were a little freaked out that it ended up not only at the same restaurant after having gotten off at a totally different exit, but that it parked right next to us as well! I am sure it was Lee's ghost. He must have recognized us as kindred "spirits" while we were on the Queen Mary's ghost tour and then followed us home.
We took pics of us next to it in the parking lot. I was relieved the owner didn't come out and see us taking the pics cuz I am sure he would have called the cops! Then we would have looked like jailed Amanda in "Our Man in Tegernsee." I can see Raffie now as she is hollering to her hubby over the phone... "arrested!" (Hmmm... now that I think about it.... Nancy never did send me a copy of those pics.) *runs off to PM Nancy*
Ok... editing to add pics (thanks, Nancy!)
Hope Raffie doesn't kill me for adding her pic here.......

I just saw an awesome license plate number - LEE 111. (In NZ, 111 is how we dial emergency services... the equivalent of 911 in the USA. So the plate was the equivalent of LEE 911. Tee hee hee... Though I should also state, for the record, that I'm not in NZ right now... )

For all you Regency fans ( jule etc) - I was listening to an audiobook of "Bath Tangle" by Georgette Heyer and heard this "He thought it was not likely that Rotherham would arrive in Bath that day, but he remained with Fanny, with a backgammon-board as chaperon". Not such a good chaperon in SMK-land

*lol* I read somewhere quite some time ago that, on pirate ships, they passed the time playing backgammon ... *wiggles eyebrows*

I spoke to a man on the phone named Lee S. numerous times yesterday morning. Voice quality wasn't quite right and he was selling me life insurance. But it was still fun to have him answer my phone call by saying, "Hello, this is Lee."
