Another vote for watching (not blogging) in Morleyv7's order: in The Khrushchev List one of the points of disagreement is that A puts L's keys by the front door not on the bedroom desk but in Suitable for Framing L comes home and puts his keys on the hall table as if it's a new habit (almost but not quite automatic).
I'm just about to finish off the series for the first time since it originally aired and wanted to say that I am SO grateful for the deep thought you all have put into re-ordering these episodes to make a more satisfying ending!!!
I was surprised to see all the dislike for S4. Is it because of the absence of Amanda in the last few eps or is there more to it? I haven't watched the whole thing yet (and I've been avoiding those eps), but from what I've seen I think I liked most of it. I found Any Number Can Play & Billy's Lost Weekend a bit draggy and implying a six-year-old was shot and killed on Promises To Keep felt very heavy and out of place for SMK. But I can't get enough of Unfinished Business, the wedding ep, and Nightcrawler. I love the Stemwinders, and the last two eps before the wedding are great. Even the Man Who Died Twice, where they decide on the secret marriage was terrific. I love One Flew East and I thought the honeymoon was well done considering the circumstances and would have made a great ep even if it hadn't had to be written that way (only if things had been normal I'd have wanted it as the ep AFTER the honeymoon). Am I missing something?
Thinking ahead for how to manage season 4 - I will likely reduce the detail for some episodes where it seems the episode is getting bogged down - but I do like to include all the dialogue everyone has contributed.. it is good to go back to.. so when the eps are a little on the dull side, I'll likely make things a little more short and snappy, but still include the dialogue.. and I'll try and reduce the number of photos included..
